In Colorado, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Florida, Hawaii, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin, where reliable testing encounters figures are available with a complete time series, we directly report those figures in this field. In most states, the totalTestResults field is currently computed by adding positive and negative values because, historically, some states do not report totals, and to work around different reporting cadences for cases and tests. Please consult each state or territory’s individual data page to see whether that jurisdiction lumps antigen and PCR tests together and to see what units that jurisdiction uses for test reporting. Therefore, this value is an aggregate calculation of heterogeneous figures. Moreover, some jurisdictions include antigen tests in their total test counts without reporting a separate total of viral (PCR) tests. Some states/territories report tests in units of test encounters, some report tests in units of specimens, and some report tests in units of unique people. Dateĭaily Statewide COVID-19 Hospital OccupancyĬonfirmed and Suspected COVID-19 Patients on VentilatorsAt the national level, this metric is a summary statistic which, because of the variation in test reporting methods, is at best an estimate of US viral (PCR) testing. Data shown below are the most recent complete data available. This table was updated March 1, 2021, to include suspected as well as laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 patients.

The table below shows the total number of hospital beds occupied by patients with suspected and confirmed COVID-19, and a subset of patients on ventilators.

Coronavirus totals update#
We will update this data note as additional information becomes available. The issue is likely to last for the next several weeks. This could affect up to 100 COVID-19 cases per day as well as associated hospitalizations and deaths. Monday, October 17, 2022: Due to a security breach encountered by one of Washington's hospital organizations, data about cases, hospitalizations, deaths, and testing are incomplete in some counties as of October 3, 2022. "Bivalent Booster" was also added to these pages and includes data regarding the bivalent (omicron) specific boosters that became available in September 2022 to individuals 12 years and older. "Any Booster" includes data for both monovalent and bivalent booster vaccines. On the “How many people are getting vaccinated?” and the “Who is getting vaccinated?” pages, "Received a Booster" has been changed to "Any Booster".

Now that we have more regional selection and filtering options on the dashboard, we are removing the ability to select multiple counties at the same time in order to improve the overall dashboard performance and to prevent any delays in loading.Īdditionally, the "Vaccination" section now includes bivalent booster data. DOH also added Accountable Communities of Health (ACH) regions to the “Disease Activity and Testing” and "Hospital Use" sections to increase the geographic selection options provided on the dashboard. The “Disease Activity and Testing” section is now updated with a new graph that shows the weekly change in the SARS-CoV-2 lineages. On October 12, 2022, the DOH COVID-19 Data Dashboard started showing the SARS-CoV-2 lineages circulating in Washington.
